Sabrina Frederick breaks down and cries before almost quitting SAS Australia

The devastating moment frontrunner Sabrina Frederick breaks down and cries before almost quitting SAS Australia after injuring her back

She’s one of the strongest recruits on SAS Australia, but Sabrina Frederick was pushed to breaking point during Monday’s episode of the hit show.

After injuring her back in an earlier challenge, the 23-year-old AFLW player struggled during a gruelling obstacle course.

As she crawled through mud, Sabrina could be heard moaning, before crying out, ‘My back!’

But after previously losing a football grand final because of an injury, Sabrina said she was determined to push through the pain.

‘I might suffer an injury on this course, but I’m not going to stand for the same result as on the grand final,’ she said.

She added: ‘I’m definitely determined to keep pushing through, because I’m here to win.’

But things only got worse after Sabrina and her fellow recruits were each forced to lift and hold a 20-kilogram sandbag over their heads.

As she winced in pain, Sabrina again cried out, ‘My back!’ before being subjected to a spraying from chief instructor Ant Middleton.

‘No weak people amongst this group. Get a grip of yourself!’ he yelled, as she strained under the weight of her sandbag.

The normally stoic Sabrina began to cry as she rested the sandbag on her head momentarily, while Ant yelled at her to turn in her number.

‘Please, please…’ she continued to cry, before mustering up the strength to hoist the sandbag back above her head.

She later said: ‘I have the survival instinct. I want to complete the course. I’d never sign myself up for something I’d think I couldn’t complete.’
