Today presenters Allison Langdon and Brooke Boney took a sledgehammer to Channel Nine’s Willoughby studios on Friday as the network prepares to move its operations to north Sydney.
The pair happily destroyed the breakfast show’s set after Nine sold its historic headquarters to property developers.
‘I’m seriously doing this, you know!’ an excited Allison, 41, told Today Extra host David Campbell as she prepared to take a swing.

Sledgehammer in hand, Allison then ran towards a panelled window on the set, before driving it through the glass.
She started laughing hysterically, as everyone around her reacted with shock.
Brooke, 33, then picked up the sledgehammer and drove it into one of the walls beside the window, but after failing to make a dent, she decided to smash the glass.

‘It is really fun, isn’t it?!’ the entertainment reporter told her colleagues.
Meanwhile, David, 47, could be seen filming the whole fiasco on his phone, and later uploaded the videos to Instagram Stories.
‘How @allisonlangdon ends her relationship with Willoughby,’ he captioned one of the videos, adding a crying-with-laughter emoji.

‘Is this okay? Wow, this feels good,’ she said in the video, as the crew all stood and watched on.
In June, Domain reported that Nine’s illustrious Willoughby studios would be converted into 460 new homes.
The television studios were among the first in Australia, and were established on the site more than 60 years ago.

The network sold the site to property developer Mirvac in February for $249million.
Final plans show the studios will be converted into nine blocks of apartments, ranging from four to nine levels.
