Hugh Jackman’s dogs really are a part of the family.

The actor, 52, kept his pooches warm and dry while embarking on a rainy day stroll through New York City with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness on Thursday.

Not only were Hugh and his wife bundled up for the light drizzle, but so were their dogs, Allegra and Dali.

Allegra was protected against the elements in a snazzy hot pink jacket, while their French bulldog Dali wore a black windbreaker.

The pooches strolled obediently by their owners, who chatted amongst themselves while enjoying a breath of fresh air.

Hugh wore a light blue face mask, down vest, and beanie, while his wife opted for a puffy jacket, leggings, and black face mask.

The couple are frequently spotted walking their dogs around the Big Apple, but this outing was certain to gain a little more attention thanks to their adorably bundled up dogs.

In addition to their furry friends, the couple are also parents to son Oscar, 20, and daughter Ava, 15, whom were both adopted from the United States.

Recently, Deborra-Lee said she feels Australia has an ‘anti-adoption culture.’

The Australian couple decided to adopt in the early 2000s after the actress suffered two miscarriages while undergoing IVF in the 1990s.

She told The Daily Telegraph: ‘Adopting kids in America was much easier than it was in Australia, we literally tried in Australia, and I walked out of the first meeting – I was so appalled by the setup and the people that were running it.

‘I was just horrified, and I said, “We’re not doing it”, and then it happened that we moved to America. We were not famous over there, we jumped through every hoop and did it all by the books, and it was so much easier.’

Meanwhile, despite the pandemic, Hugh is still attached to several new films.

The actor stars in Enzo Ferrari, which is in pre-production, and Reminiscence, which has been completed.
