But heartbroken Becky Miles’ closest friends jumped to her support as they surprised with a hotel picnic on Sunday.
In a clip shared to her Instagram Stories, the blonde, 30, proved that her ex Pete was the last thing on her mind as she enjoyed her evening with her pals.

Becky was seen sharing a joke with her friend as they sat around plates of tasty food and drinks.
She wrote in her caption: ‘On Friday, my besties surprised me with a hotel picnic and (rose emoji) to make me smile.
‘Feeling very lucky and blessed with the best people in my life!’
This comes after Becky insisted to The Project co-host Lisa Wilkinson that she’s ‘doing okay’ despite splitting from Pete.

While she said it’s hard to relive those moments during press interviews and on screen, she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘excited to see what the future has in store’.
Asked by Lisa whether she’s okay, Becky took a few moments before responding.
‘I think that’s the question that always gets me a little bit emotional,’ she began. ‘I think reliving all of those moments… it’s really hard because it takes you back into that time where it was really emotional. It was a really tough decision for me.’
Having been contracted by Channel Ten to do the press rounds on Friday following Thursday’s finale, Becky did admit that it had been ‘an emotional day’.

However, she insisted that she’s doing okay with the support of her loved ones.
‘At the same time, I’ve got amazing friends and family and support, and I’m really happy. And I’m just excited to see what the future has in store for me,’ she said.
After Becky announced their split on Friday morning, she told The Daily Telegraph that Pete, 35, had dumped her over FaceTime less than a week after the finale, leaving her ‘blindsided’.

Sharing a message for fans: Becky thanked everyone for ‘coming on this incredible and crazy journey’ and wished Pete ‘happiness and all the best in his search for love’
She said they’d spent three days together after filming wrapped, before he went back to Adelaide and she returned to Newcastle.
But her hopes for a long-distance relationship soon crumbled.
‘I feel a bit cheated because three days after spending time together and having a really nice time, I feel like that isn’t giving it a go,’ she said.
Describing the moment she was brutally dumped over the phone, Becky added: ‘He said he didn’t think there was a spark there and he isn’t my person.

Becky and Pete had been the subject of split rumours for weeks, so their break-up announcement was hardly surprising.
During Thursday’s finale, she chose Pete as her winning suitor, dumping runner-up Adrian Baena.
