Three stag do thugs are jailed after stamping on woman’s head, punching man and BITING a policeman during drunken rampage through Welsh town

Three yobs have been jailed after their stag do rampage saw them attacking pub-goers, biting a policeman, before then being tasered after marching shirtless into Tesco bellowing ‘Who is the hardest man in here?’.
Clive Bennett, 27, his brother Jack, 26, and Harley Southway, 28, unleashed ‘mayhem’ in picturesque Abergavenny, South Wales, after drinking heavily all afternoon.
The trio were in a 12-strong stag party thrown out of a Wetherspoon’s pub – before launching a vicious attack in a bar beer garden.
Bennett junior then targeted unsuspecting victim Anne-Marie Doolan by stamping on her head in the horrific attack.
Newport Crown Court heard his older brother later sank his teeth into a policeman’s leg during the night of carnage in June last year.

Prosecutor Nigel Fryer said of the Wetherspoon’s incident: ‘One of the group threatened the manager, clenching his fist and saying, ‘I will knuckle you’.
‘It took about seven minutes to eject the group form Wetherspoon’s.’
The court heard they then moved onto the nearby Auberge pub where a fight was sparked in the beer garden.
CCTV captured the moment the group launched an attack on victim Russell Wincott – who had been socialising with friends.
Mr Fryer said: ‘He was set upon by the group and was kicked and punched repeatedly.’
The court heard Mr Wincott’s friend Miss Doolan then followed the group inside the pub.
Mr Fryer said: ‘Anne-Marie Doolan followed the group inside the pub. She was thrown to the floor by Bennett and Southway.
‘Jack Bennett then stamped on her head in a sickening display of violence against a defenceless female. The blow knocked her unconscious.’
Southway fled the pub but then attacked a shopper at a nearby supermarket.
Mr Fryer said: ‘Harley Southway ran into the Tesco Express next door. He was shirtless and intensely aggressive, shouting, ‘Who is the hardest man in here?’.
‘He then approached Simon Van Beers. He shouted at him and without warning punched him to the right side of his mouth, causing his glasses to come off and him to stubble.
‘Southway asked, ‘Do you want a fight?’
‘Southway left the Tesco and was met by PC Owain Smallwood who told him he had a Taser, but he tried to run away. As a result, Southway was Tasered.’
Mr Fryer said PC Teague was bitten in the street as he tried to make arrests.

He said: ‘Bennett continued to bite, and the officer had no option but to kick him in the face three or four times. This caused Bennett to bite down even harder. Eventually, PC Teague managed to kick him off.’
The court heard Clive Bennett was left in a coma for 24 hours after he attacked the police officer.
Dad-of-three Jack Bennett, of Brynmawr, admitted affray and causing actual bodily harm and was jailed for 12 months.
Clive Bennett, of Nantyglo, admitted assaulting an emergency worker and was jailed for six months.
Southway, of Nantyglo, pleaded guilty to affray, actual bodily harm and assaulting an emergency worker and jailed for 18 months.
Judge Richard Twomlow said: ‘This was an absolutely disgraceful incident in which mayhem was caused by drunken young men.’
