Jeremy told The Sun that despite wearing a suit while he collects honey from the hive, the bees still find a way to sting him on his ankle.

He said: ‘The bees aren’t so bad but it’s just they hate me.

‘The bee got in the bottom, crawled up the Wellington, up the jeans trouser until it got between there and my T-shirt where it found an interesting crack, down it went and then stung me.’

He added: ‘I knew it was there dying in my underpants. I just thought, ”God this honey better sell”. It does taste nice.’

In September Jeremy opened up his own store at his farm Diddly Squat in The Cotswolds, and sells items including honey, fresh fruit and vegetables, flour and eggs.

The former Top Gear host has been documenting his new business venture for the Amazon series I Bought A Farm, which will air in early 2021.

Elsewhere Jeremy hosted a new series of Millionaire in September, which was filmed without a studio audience and social distancing measures in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The final episode of the series saw Donald Fear become the show’s sixth winner after scooping the top prize with two lifelines to spare.

It’s since been reported that Piers Morgan will make a guest appearance on Millionaire in the coming weeks with former nemesis Jeremy after the pair finally put their longstanding feud to rest.
