‘We love you like a fiery sunset’: Josh Brolin posts Instagram tribute to daughter Westlyn on second birthday
He’s expecting a second baby with wife Kathryn Brolin.
But on Tuesday, it was his firstborn, daughter Westlyn, who was the focus of Josh Brolin’s attention – and affection.
The Hollywood star, 52, posted a long tribute to the little girl on his Instagram as he celebrated her second birthday.

He shared a photo of the blonde toddler and went on to wax lyrical about his love for her.
‘In 2 years you have transformed this family,’ he wrote. ‘A laugh is an earthquake of joy, and your tears lacerate me to the bone.’
The Avengers star went on: ‘Two years old and your soul shines like you’ve been here a hundred times before.
‘We are lucky to know you, little girl…. we love you like a fiery sunset, like the fish that comes to peek at the surface of the water then dives deep into the reveal of an explosively colorful sea that you understand better than any of us.’
Brolin concluded: ‘Papa loves you. Happy birthday.’

Brolin married Kathryn, his former assistant, in 2016.
In July, the couple confirmed they were expecting their second child together and in August, Kathryn, 32, moved her family back to her native Georgia to await the birth.
They have since purchased a multi-million dollar mansion in the Atlanta suburbs.
Brolin is the son of actor James Brolin, who is married to superstar Barbra Streisand.
His most recent big screen credits include Avengers: Endgame, Sicario: Day of the Soldado and Deadpool 2.
He is also dad to two adult children from his first marriage to actress Alice Adair.
Relocated: The couple quit Los Angeles over the summer and have made their home in a multi-million dollar mansion in the Atlanta suburbs in Georgia, Kathryn’s home state
