‘God, I can’t remember,’ Jackie ‘O’ Henderson said dismissively. ‘Why was that so memorable?’

A defensive Kyle shot back: ‘Because she was a beautiful brown girl. She was just gorgeous. She was hoeing into that big fairy floss stick.’

After the producers brought up photos of Karly on the monitor, Kyle said: ‘There she is, the gorg! Look at her.’

‘Oh, I remember her,’ Jackie finally admitted. ‘Every guy fell in love with that girl at the time, didn’t they?’

Karly was just 18 years old when photos of her devouring fairy floss at Ladies Day in 2016 went viral.

She and her pal spent the day mingling with people, before the girls ‘had a few glasses of champagne, put a few bets on and just enjoyed the sun’.

Karly said she found out about her Internet stardom when she woke up the day after, and discovered her social media accounts had been inundated with messages.

‘I woke up this morning with so many messages and screenshots of the photos! I was honestly shocked!’ she said.

The Melbourne-based makeup artist told Daily Mail Australia in 2018 that strangers had professed their love to her after the photos were published.

‘A few people claimed they were in love with me,’ she laughed.

These days, Karly is enjoying life outside of the spotlight. According to her social media profiles, she now has a young son and has made motherhood her priority.
