Rob Kardashian snaps up rare Tom Brady sports card worth a huge $250k

Rob Kardashian may have scored a jackpot thanks to his hobby collecting sports cards.

The reality star has a huge collection but he has landed on his rarest find yet – a Tom Brady card. 

Rob decided to splash the cash this week during a late night spree at his favourite store, The Bullpen in Los Angeles.

TMZ report that at around 3am on Tuesday, Rob bought a case of 2020 Panini Mosaic Choice (hobby) cards – which is made up of 20 boxes and usually costs around £10k. 

Rob didn’t make it down to the store so he asked his friends at The Bullpen to open his haul on his behalf, and live stream it on Instagram so he could see what he had got.   

Rob spent well, with his new box containing some rare cards of Justin Herbet which could be worth around $6k, and Joe Burrow, but the star find was a Tom Brady MVP Nebula parallel.

The rare card could be worth anywhere from $50k to $250k depending on its condition according to experts contacted by TMZ. 

The card looks to be in perfect condition so is expected to be worth the top amount. 

The Bullpen shared an Instagram snap of Rob’s new Brady card, writing: ‘This got hit after 3am on the Live! 1/1 Tom Brady Nebula!!! Big hands pulling so much heat tonight. Congrats, Rob! #tombrady #cardshop #bullpenboom #sportscards #paniniamerica #thehobby.

An excited Rob replied ‘Wow that was insane’. 

Rob was back in the limelight this week after his sister Kim shared a snap of him and the rest of her siblings during her lavish 40th birthday celebrations.

While Kim admitted the entire family received ‘multiple health screens’ before embarking on the holiday, fans were quick to question if the family even realized the severity of the coronavirus and quarantine lockdown guidelines affecting billions of people around the world. 

Followers were completely caught off guard by Kim’s long-winded post detailing the extravagant affair.

’40 and feeling so humbled and blessed,’ she began the tweeting spree. ‘There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter. 

‘For my birthday this year, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with some of the people who have helped shaped me into the woman I am today.

‘Before COVID, I don’t think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment.

‘After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.

‘We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40’.

Twitter was set alight with commentary for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star as memes flooded the site in between thought-provoking anecdotes.

‘I feel like, maybe, you should not have shared this with us and just kept it to yourself,’ Twitter user @sullypov wrote. ‘People are dying and the rest of us are suffering as we watch the body count rise quarantined in our homes. This is tone deaf and insensitive.’ 

‘Wow so fun my family still hasn’t met my six month old baby but I’m glad you’re rich,’ user @clhubes wrote.
