‘No thanks that’s one reason to turn the TV off,’ a fourth harshly commented, while another said they would ‘rather stab themselves in the eyes with a rusty fork’ than watch Nasser on The Bachelor.

On Tuesday it was revealed Nasser was desperately campaigning to become Australia’s next Bachelor.

Posting a clip to Instagram, he explained why he should be The Bachelor and asked his followers for their support.

Nasser told Daily Mail Australia: ‘The amount of support and well wishes that I’ve received have been overwhelming.’

‘And it’s good to see people are so invested in me that they care to comment. The hate is just people don’t want to admit that they are heavily invested in me that’s all.’

It wouldn’t be Nasser’s first time appearing on the network. He has previously made a quick appearance on Kyle Sandilands axed series, Trial By Kyle in 2018.
