Scheana Shay has explained why her former Vanderpump Rules costar and friend Stassi Schroeder has ended their friendship.
It emerged earlier this month that Stassi and Scheana had unfollowed each other on Instagram and now the SUR server has revealed it’s all down to a misunderstanding about text messages.
‘Long story short, she thought that I was sharing her private messages to me in my Huddles groups, which is like a live, Zoom, FaceTime interaction with fans,’ Scheana explained on her Scheananigans podcast on Friday.

‘And I’m like, first of all we barely talk, so we don’t have very many private messages to share.
‘The only thing that I recall mentioning in a group with them about text messages was about that message she sent me about my miscarriage and how sweet it was and maybe I read a part of the text? I don’t recall doing that. But I do remember talking in a Huddles about how sweet the message was she sent me.’
Scheana added that after Stassi was fired from the show in June after her past racist actions surfaced, some fans of Vanderpump Rules reached out to her through a messaging app Community which connects stars to their fans.
‘A fan had asked after she got fired like, “Have you checked in on Stassi? How is she doing?” And there were hundreds of messages. I responded to one and I said, “Haven’t heard back from her but spoke to Beau,”‘ Scheana said, referring to Stassi’s husband Beau Clark.

‘That was all! Just like, “Yes I’ve checked in,” that was it. And I guess that got screenshot, put into a Facebook chat, and she was like, “Please don’t be talking about me right now.”
‘And I was like, “I’m so sorry, that was the only message I responded to.” So between that one text and me sharing her sweet miscarriage text, one of those pissed her off and she said that she had no desire to talk this out with me, and she wanted to remain surface level.’
Scheana hit out at Stassi not wanting to talk and called her response ‘bulls**t’.
‘The fact that you don’t even want to hear me out? I said, “We’ve been surface level for years, Stassi. I’m fine continuing that way. I wish you the best,”‘.
‘And then I unfollowed her. … I don’t follow people I’m not friends with anymore so you wanna be surface level? Then I’m not gonna follow you. I had her on mute for months anyways.’
Meanwhile, Scheana’s feud with Lala Kent was still rumbling on earlier this month.
Scheana explained of Stassi ‘between that one text and me sharing her sweet miscarriage text, one of those pissed her off and she said that she had no desire to talk this out with me, and she wanted to remain surface level.’
Drama: Scheana and Lala also fell out after Lala didn’t invite Scheana to her gender reveal party
The drama started after Scheana called Lala out for not inviting her to her gender reveal party.
Not only that, but Scheana claimed Lala wasn’t there for her after she suffered a miscarriage.
An angry Lala fired back in defense, insisting Scheana’s grievances should have been directed at her own boyfriend, Brock Davies.
Unsurprisingly, Lala and Scheana no longer follow each other on Instagram.
‘Anybody wondering my thoughts on @scheana “dragging” me,’ Kent, who hosts her own podcast Give Them Lala with fiancee Randall Emmett, wrote on her Instagram stories.
‘1. I’m not trippin too hard. In her mind that’s how it happened. She would rather focus on me ‘not being there for her’ than the fact her man said he was working, turned his phone off and went golfing that day,’ she said.

‘Weird how that was just glazed over. This is why her relationships are always a trainwreck that make epic TV. She makes reality TV gold,’ Kent added.
‘2. She claims I chose celebrity over her. Girl, weren’t you just capitalizing off banging John Mayer 100 years ago?’ Kent added, throwing some major shade.
‘3. She has a way of making everything about her. I’ve accepted that about her and found the endearing parts of it,’ she added.
‘4. She has an idea of how everyone should react in certain situations. We usually always fail and she is left disappointed. This is why she has a new best friend every day. We can’t keep up,’ Kent added.

Kent also called out Scheana’s apparent vague messaging asking for support.
‘5. When she told me she was really upset with Brock and just wanted to go to bed, I didn’t know that meant, “Come over right now.”
She concluded her missive with, ‘I can’t believe I just gave that much time to this s–t when we aren’t even filming and I’m not getting paid. Smh.’
