Bette Midler shares Hocus Pocus reunion photo with Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker

It’s been rumored there’s a sequel in the works.

But for now, it’s just a reunion of Hocus Pocus star Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker for a good cause.

On Sunday, Midler shared a photo of the trio in costume as the Sanderson sisters from the 1993 Disney movie to promote a charity fundraiser on the eve of Halloween.

Midler posted the pic to her Instagram and wrote alongside it: ‘Your 3 fav witches – @sarahjessicaparker @kathynajimy & ME – are returning for 1 night only on 10/30 at 8p ET!’ 

She added: ‘In Search of the Sanderson Sisters’ is the best thing to happen to #Halloween since Hocus Pocus + Reeses Pieces.’ 

The three stars are reuniting to help raise money for the New York Restoration Project.

The nonprofit was founded by Midler and partners with communities to ensure that all New Yorkers have access to the benefits of nature, through its environmental justice work.   

‘In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover will be a one-hour virtual broadcast hosted by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

Also slated to make an appearance are celebrities such as Glenn Close, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, John Stamos, Meryl Streep, Billy Crystal, Martin Short and Sarah Silverman.

Tickets cost $10 and there is also Hocus Pocus-themed merchandise available to purchase.  

Hocus Pocus was released in1993 and the comedy followed the Sanderson sisters who come back from the dead to terrorize Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween. 

The movie was directed by Kenny Ortega and has become something of a cult classic especially around Halloween.
