This is not the first time Teresa has discussed her heartbreaking miscarriage.

In 2018, she shared a bittersweet photo to Instagram that was taken just moments before she learned she was losing her baby.

The image showed her holding her son Bodhi, now six, alongside her husband, Mark Webber, 40, as they awaited the results of an ultrasound.

She captioned the photo: ‘August 13, 2015. Seven weeks pregnant and waiting for the doctor to come in to see the heartbeat of our second baby.

‘A few minutes later she walked in, we were giddy with excitement, but we never got to see our baby’s heartbeat, instead we heard the words, “I’m so sorry this baby doesn’t look viable.”‘

Teresa then learned she had a molar pregnancy, which occurs when the cells that normally form placenta develop into normal cells instead and can be ‘potentially cancerous.

‘I needed surgery immediately. I was whisked away into the operating theatre to have a D&C [dilation and curettage]. It was the first time I’d ever been in hospital,’ she explained.
