Arnold Schwarzenegger heads out in his Humvee army jeep to run some errands in Santa Monica

Arnold Schwarzenegger ran some errands with his massive Humvee army jeep during a Monday afternoon run.

The 73-year-old actor and former California governor was spotted in Santa Monica driving his army green Hummer, with no door on the driver’s side.

Schwarzenegger became the first civilian to purchase a Humvee, and he even paved the way for the civilian version that debuted in 1992.

Schwarzenegger was wearing a red t-shirt and camo shorts as he stepped out for his errand outing.

He was also wearing black sunglasses and a luxurious gold watch as he maneuvered his massive vehicle down the road.

He was also seen with a cigar in his mouth as he rode solo through the streets of Santa Monica.

While Humvees were originally manufactured strictly for the U.S. Army, a Vox profile from January revealed that Schwarzenegger first discovered the vehicles in 1990, while he was filming Kindergarten Cop in Portland.

He contacted the manufacturer, AM General, and convinced them to produce a street-legal version, which they did in 1992 and sold to the Terminator star.

The actor also purchased the first two H1 Hummers that they rolled off the line that year.
