Leah Messer of Teen Mom 2 fame has been accused of undergoing plastic surgery.

But this week the star took to Twitter to deny going under the knife as she insists she is just healthier these days.

‘I have not had surgery peoplesss,’ the 28-year-old began her post, adding an emoji of a smiley face with sweat. ‘However, I have most definitely done a 180 on how I choose to diet and live my life. & I feel like it finally shows!’ she added.

Leah then got specific about some of the changes she made to her look writing: ‘My extensions are out, and I lightened up on the eye makeup too. #JustBeYou.’

She followed her initial tweet up with a reply that read: ‘Btw, this pandemic is the reason why I no longer have extensions.’

In another tweet she quipped: ‘Not saying that I’m not all about some fresh botox either… Girl. Be. YoU! Do You! When is the next Botox party? I’m coming!’

Like many reality stars who featured in the Teen Mom franchise Leah got her start in showbiz on the series 16 And Pregnant.

As a cheerleader at a West Virginia high school she got pregnant with twins by her boyfriend of one month Corey Simms.

They welcomed their twin daughters Aliannah and Aleeah and they tried their hand at marriage though they ultimately divorced in 2011.

She and her second ex-husband Jeremy Calvert, whom she was with from 2011 to 2015, have a seven-year-old daughter named Adalynn.

Since becoming a mother her life has been fraught with difficulties, many of which she wrote about in her new memoir Hope, Grace & Faith.

'Do You!': In another tweet she quipped: 'Not saying that I'm not all about some fresh botox either' and quipped 'When is the next Botox party? I’m coming!'

Her opiate addiction reached such a level of severity that she became suicidal, which ultimately convinced her she needed to go into recovery.

‘When I wanted to commit suicide, that’s when I realized there was an underlying issue,’ she explained to Entertainment Tonight while plugging the book this spring.

‘Being suicidal and wanting to take my life and leave my girls without a mom is what led me to seek…you know, I needed help. And that was OK. And it was OK.’

While she was dating Jeremy she became pregnant and decided to get an abortion – but passed it off as a miscarriage on Teen Mom 2.

At that point she chose to terminate the pregnancy because she felt having a baby with Jeremy would permanently dash any hopes of restarting her relationship with Corey whom she had not totally moved on from yet.

Aliannah, who goes by Ali, was diagnosed with a rare type of muscular dystrophy called Titin’s when she was only four years old.

During an interview with In Touch Weekly this summer Leah gushed that ‘that girl, Ali, her determination, it’s so inspiring.’
