She’s set to welcome her third child with Marvin Humes in just a couple of weeks.

And on Saturday, Rochelle Humes took to Instagram to announce she will no longer be leaving the house, to protect herself and her unborn baby against the increased risk of Covid-19.  

The TV star, 31, who is 38 weeks pregnant, revealed her plans in the caption of an Instagram post, which saw Rochelle showing off her blossoming bump in a mirror selfie.

The This Morning guest presenter wore a pair of grey gym shorts and a pink sports bra, as she showed off her pregnancy curves. 

Writing alongside the snap, Rochelle penned: ‘Me for the foreseeable…I am isolating until our little man shows up. I have one more doctors appointment and apart from that I’ll be right here at home. 

‘I’m all a bit freaked out about Covid again at this point of pregnancy so I’m staying put….anyone else feeling the same?’

According to the NHS, there’s no evidence pregnant women are more likely to get seriously ill from coronavirus.

But those expecting have been included in the list of people at moderate risk (clinically vulnerable) as a precaution. This is because pregnant women can sometimes be more at risk from viruses like flu.

The website adds: ‘There’s no evidence coronavirus causes miscarriage or affects how your baby develops in pregnancy’.

Rochelle’s announcement comes just days after she sparked hysteria among her fans on Monday, after sharing a throwback snap of her baby daughter. 

She shared a sweet snap of her oldest daughter Alaia, seven, meeting her sister Valentina, three, for the first time.

But the glimpse of a newborn baby on her feed sparked a flurry of comments from fans, who admitted they thought she’d given birth to her third child after seeing the snap. 

The post led to slew of comments from fans who all thought she’d given birth to her third child when they saw the snap.

One penned: ‘I opened instagram and went omg it’s a baby and i thought you had him.’

Another wrote: ‘For a minutes I thought you had baby boy before I saw the caption,’ while a third penned: ‘Omg I thought you’d had him.’
