Rebel Wilson dressed for comfort as she stepped out in New York City’s Tribeca neighbourhood on Monday.

The 40-year-old actress, who recently lost an impressive 18kg, kept things casual in grey leggings and a white T-shirt with the slogan ‘Rebel Rebel’.

She concealed her famous face behind a white face mask, oversized sunglasses and a baseball cap during her solo stroll.

The Pitch Perfect star completed her low-key ensemble with black sneakers, and a smart watch.  

It comes as Rebel continues to shed the kilos, having lost at least 18kg (2.8 stone, or 40lbs) since declaring 2020 her ‘year of health’ in January.

Last month, Rebel highlighted her weight loss as she shared a photo to Instagram of her slimmer frame in a tight blue wrap dress.

The comedian’s weight loss was certainly noticed by her fans and celebrity followers, with many leaving gushing comments below the post.

‘If I could like this picture numerous times I would,’ wrote actress and model Ruby Rose.

‘Sweet baby Jesus! You look amazing,’ Rebel’s personal trainer Jono Castano added.

According to People magazine, Rebel’s remarkable transformation is partially down to following the Mayr Method diet plan.

‘It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation,’ a source said.

‘She exercises with a personal trainer up to six times a week, goes on walks and is trying to up her protein intake nutritionally.’

Rebel’s personal trainer, Jono, recently shared her workout routine with E! Australia.

During a typical week, Rebel does a combination of HIIT workouts, mobility, weights and resistance, and has just one day per week of rest.
