Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi pays tribute to her eldest son Lorenzo on his eighth birthday and admits she felt ‘the world doubted her as a mother’

She has officially moved on from her Jersey Shore Family Vacation days as it was was confirmed she would not be returning when season four was announced on June 25.

However Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, 32, was on a family vacation of her own as she celebrated her firstborn son Lorenzo’s eighth birthday on Wednesday. 

The mother of three took to Instagram to pay tribute to her eldest son in a series of snaps and videos.

In the adorable snap Snooki is seen cradling her son in the waterfront backyard of their home in Tom’s River, New Jersey. The family property neighbors Seaside Heights where Snooki first shot to fame on the Jersey Shore. 

She humorously captioned the photo ‘MY FIRST BORN IS 8. Jesus, take the wheel.’

Snooki and Lorenzo were fresh from a day of watersports as the whole family went tubing in their backyard bay to celebrate. 

The reality star rocked her signature leopard print in a beach coverup with an acid washed Adidas baseball cap, while Lorenzo hugged his mother lovingly in a pair of shark printed swim trunks.

In another sweet snap Snooki paid tribute to her son again, while including a loved up photo of her other two babies Giovanna, five and Angelo, one.

In a heartfelt caption she wrote ‘Happy 8th birthday my Lorenzo. You have changed my life completely. When the world doubted me as a mother, we both proved them wrong. Thank you for choosing me as your mommy.’

The MTV favorite added ‘I couldn’t be more proud of the big brother you are to sissy & squishy. I JUST LOVE YOU SO MUCH SQUIRREL. Please stop growing #blessedmama’

The boutique which started online in 2012 eventually opened its first and only location in Madison, NJ in 2018. 

The mother and Jersey Shore breakout has also been developing a new venture called Meatball Merch with ‘fellow meatball’ and castmate Deena Nicole Cortese. 

The term of endearment first came into existence after the cast used it to describe Snooki who is ‘short and stout.’

As part of her ploy to maintain business amid the pandemic, Snooki has begun doing live shopping sprees for her shop via Facebook Live where she showcases ‘must haves’ and hands out discount codes to viewers.
