Alessandra Ambrosio had been isolating in her Santa Monica home for most of the COVID-19 lockdown.
But the model jetted off with her family to the Maldives to celebrate her daughter Anja’s 12th birthday.
She posted a series of photos to Instagram on Monday of the family celebrations and called Anja ‘My ray of sunshine.’

As the family enjoyed celebrations over looking the Arabian Sea, the 39-year-old cuddled up to her daughter and planted a kiss on her cheek.
‘Today is her day,’ she wrote. ‘Happy 12th @anjalouise.a.m My ray of sunshine!’
The Brazilian beauty went on to reflect on her first born and the characteristics that make her special.
‘I remember the day I found out I was expecting her, my biggest dream, a miracle,’ Alessandra wrote.

Anja, who Alessandra shares with ex Jamie Mazur along with son Noah, eight, beamed in the photos in a darling yellow bikini.
Seated on a day bed, the pre-teen was presented with a large wicker tray of delights including pastries, cakes and refreshing drinks, and a pink sign spelling out her name.
Pink, blue and yellow balloons were attached to the basket that she pulled in for the picture with her mom, as she also held up silver ’12’ numbers.

In another snap, Alessandra cozied up to Anja, pulling her into her lap, and placing a kiss on her head, as they wore flowers behind their ears.
The mother-of-two looked beach ready in a cream colored mini dress and her golden brown hair flowing down in waves.
