Kim Kardashian shows off KKW x Allison PR box…including highlighter named after fave Madonna song

Her highly anticipated collection in collaboration with longtime bestie Allison Statter for KKW Beauty is scheduled to drop on August 28.

And Kim Kardashian treated fans to a ‘walk through’ of the KKW x Allison press box, which was drenched in a plethora of personal touches, including photos of the pair from their youth.

On her Instagram Story, the 39-year-old KUWTK star revealed that one of the highlighters in the collection was named after the pair’s favorite Madonna song Cherish.

‘Cherish is a really special story,’ began Kardashian. ‘It’s our favorite song. I’d say that’s like OUR song together. And, you know, that’s a Madonna’s song.’

The KKW Beauty founder went on to recall the special memory her and Allison share regarding the iconic track.  

‘Allison’s parents had a house in Malibu and I slept over one night and on the beach we wake up in the morning and hear the song Cherish over and over.

‘And we look outside and Herb Ritts is shooting Madonna on the beach in front of [Allison’s] house, shooting the Cherish video,’ revealed Kim.

She said that her and Allison ‘went outside and got to witness the entire’ music video being shot.

‘And at my first Met Ball, I told Madonna that story and I was so excited about it and it is so cool that I got to see my favorite song…a music video being shot for it…with my favorite person Allison,’ concluded Kardashian. 

The KKW x Allison’s sentimental PR package comes in a box shaped like an envelope that features the address of the friend duo’s favorite clothing store, Camp Beverly Hills.

Kim gushed about how her and Allison ‘used to shop [there] all the time.’

‘At the top of it, the [return address] is Bassett-Martin Tennis Camp. That’s where Allison and I went to tennis camp when we were kids.’

As for why the press box is shaped like an envelope, Kim explained that letter writing has always been a huge part of her friendship with Allison, so it made sense to incorporate it into the collection.

‘Allison and I have been best friends our whole lives, if you don’t know our story, we have literally been best friends since before we were born because our parents are best friends.’

Kim then flipped the box over and showcased the letter closure, which happened to feature the acronym ‘S.W.A.K.’ and a lipstick mark.

‘[On our letters] I would always write “Sealed With A Kiss” and so would she on our letters that we would write back-and-forth to each other,’ she explained.

The wife of Kanye West, eventually, opened to the press box, which featured a ‘photo copy of an actual letter that [Allison] wrote [her] when [she] was away at camp.’ 

Allison’s sweet letter, which was written when the pair were 13, assured Kim that she would ‘always consider [her] a sister’ and that she ‘loves [her] so much and [she] always will.’

‘You are always welcome at my house and that will never change. I bet you are dying at camp without makeup. Should I sneak you some in a care package?’ one portion of the letter read.

Kim then went through each piece of the collection made for ‘working moms,’ which were each drenched in photos of Kim and Allison that they took throughout their friendship.

‘This packaging is so cute,’ said Kim, before providing details regarding where some of the throwback pics of her and Allison were taken.

Kardashian then began explaining the inspiration behind the pair’s collection, which she stressed is meant for ‘moms on the go and moms who do not have a lot of time to get ready.’

The KKW x Allison collection will include an eyeshadow palette and a lip crayon in addition to two 3-in-1 face palettes and a clear lip gloss.
