Priscilla Presley lists her Beverly Hills mansion for $16m after purchasing it in the 70s to be close to ex Elvis

Priscilla Presley is ready to say goodbye to her longtime Beverly Hills mansion, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The 70-year-old star listed her the home for $16m, after she bought in the 70s to be close to her ex husband Elvis Presley.

Built in 1951, the estate boasts seven bedroom, eight and a half bathroom, a tile lined swimming pool and tennis court.

The estate is set behind a gated entry way, and is tucked between lush trees providing privacy.

In a warm orange color, much of the house’s exterior is covered in sprawling ivy and also features a side of french doors and windows.

Inside, the house features vaulted ceilings, with exposed beams in dark wood and matching framed archways.

Dark wood runs through the home, also featured in window panes, sculpted pillars throughout and panelling in the library/den combination room.

The cream color of the walls compliments the dark wood flooring and white stone fireplace.

One of the seven bedrooms is the main suit that is attached to a large ensuite with double sinks and mirrors on a dark wood vanity, with velvet drapes providing coverage to personal items.

Stone work lines the glass shower, and tub tucked under a window.

Off the suite is a large balcony with red stone flooring, a wrought iron railing and views of the backyard and pool.

Outside, short shrubs line the walkways with brick detailing in the driveway and paths, and as well stairs leading from the indoor living space outside.

More wrought iron railings and an ivy covered iron archway provide separation from entry into the estate and private spaces.

An outdoor seating area accompanies a stone fireplace for cozy evenings.

For guests a private guest suite sits above the garage.
