Cardi B sent temperatures soaring as she channeled Pamela Anderson’s iconic character Barb Wire from the cult classic of the same name.

The Bodak Yellow rapper, 27, posed for a sizzling photo shoot inspired by the 1996 sci-fi film, where Pamela played a mercenary and bounty hunter, who was forced into a secret government plan by a former lover.

Cardi slipped her curvaceous frame into a deeply plunging skintight catsuit, which highlighted her incredible frame and more than ample assets.

Cardi teamed her racy look with a pair of leather thigh-high skyscraper heeled boots, as she crouched on the ground and posed with a loaded gun in her hands.

The American star, who has donned a variety of hair styles over the years, copied Pamela’s voluminous long blonde locks for the look.

She added further details with a pair of long black gloves and silver earrings, while also sporting a perfectly-applied heavy coat of make-up.

The movie was based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name and also starred  Temuera Morrison, Victoria Rowell, Xander Berkeley and Udo Kier.

Despite being released in 1996 the film was set 11 years in the future where the lead character owns a bar called Hammerhead, which is in the ‘last free city’ in the U.S, which has been plagued by war.

A former lover walks into the bar on the hunt for a fugitive and before long Barb is pulled into the whole ordeal.
