Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn admits that she has considered leaving the Oppenheim Group

She revealed that her costar Brett Oppenheim had left his brokerage firm the Oppenheim Group to start his own firm over the weekend.

Christine Quinn of Selling Sunset fame revealed she’d also considered leaving the Oppenheim Group in an interview on Dear Media’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch.

The 31-year-old realtor delved into her complicated feelings about the group and an air of favoritism that had infected her workplace.

After she was asked about a scene in the season three trailer that hinted that she might leave the Oppenheim Group, Christine clarified that she wasn’t heading anywhere just yet.

‘That was headline manipulation at its best,’ she said, referring to earlier reports.

‘There’s a scene in the trailer actually where Maya, Heather and I are all sitting at the table and Maya is sick of the favoritism, and she’s like, “Would you ever leave the show?”

‘Me and Heater are both like, “Yeah, of course, we think about it all the time,”‘ she said.

Christine attributed her dissatisfaction with the Oppenheim Group to her belief that the founder, Jason Oppenheim, favored Mary Fitzgerald and gave her choice properties to sell.

‘Mary gets every single listing. Jason just doesn’t want to do work so he just gives it to her. And it’s just so frustrating — he doesn’t give it to anyone else. So we’re all just like sick of it.

‘If this favoritism continues, we’d absolutely [leave],’ she added.

Christine thought that Jason and Mary ‘have this really strong relationship and connection,’ but she admitted she thought the two were in love with each other when pushed by the host.

Despite her concerns that Mary was running away with the best properties, Christine revealed she’d sent her a text message on the Fourth of July to try to bury the hatchet, which Mary seemed receptive to, though she didn’t want to share her response.

Earlier in the interview, Christine revealed that she wanted to start her own lifestyle company, which she admitted would be similar to Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh, though she hadn’t decided where she wanted to go with her own brand.

The desire to launch her own site was inspired by being called a b***h and reflected her desire to reclaim the word.

‘There’s no such thing as labels. And I hate when people label other people,’ she said.

After being labeled the villain of Selling Sunset, the reality star decided to just accept her role.

‘I kind of just wanted to embrace these labels and everyday life and just roll with it.’

Over the weekend, Christine revealed to Glamour that Brett Oppenheim had left the Oppenheim Group to start his own agency, leaving the possibility of a rivalry in season four.

‘Brett has left to start his own brokerage. The girls are fed up with the favoritism of Mary in the office,’ she explained.

‘We don’t know who will move where. It may be the battle of the brokerages!’ she said, adding, ‘I think season four is going to be the juiciest season ever.’

Jason Oppenheim, who founded the organization, previously told Hello! that he wouldn’t have ever signed up for the show if he had known how much it would focus on his personal life.
