Kaia Gerber opts for a new playful hairstyle as she debuts a pink bob in Malibu

She has been sporting bright blonde locks in recent weeks.

Yet Kaia Gerber has already switched up her hairstyle again, as she was seen debuting a head of bright pink locks in Malibu on Sunday evening.

The model, 18, was seen arriving for dinner in a black 4×4 with a friend before heading into a restaurant for dinner together.

Kaia looked stylish in a white graphic-print tank top, which she wore with a pair of blue flared jeans and a pair of chunky white Converse.

The daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber has recently transformed her hair again after sporting platinum locks in an Instagram post.

However she appears to be opting for a more playful look now, judging by the vibrant neon colour of her cropped locks. 

Kaia originally lightened her brunette tresses back in April to alleviate her quarantine boredom, and has been dying it lighter ever since. 

The starlet went a step further on Saturday as she debuted new bleached blonde locks in a stunning Instagram closeup.

‘zoom bleach,’ she wrote in the caption, referencing the popular video conferencing app that’s been a go-to for many amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

Kaia matched her blonde hair to her ‘Kaia’ necklace and a gold pendant draped around her neck, and she kept her outfit simple with a white linen shirt that was unbuttoned down to her cleavage.

The new look was a hit with her Instagram followers, including Queer Eye’s Tan France, who commented: ‘GORG.’

The runway star’s hair has been getting lighter in recent months, and she showed off a fully blonde look while attending a Black Lives Matter protest with her friend Cara Delevingne last month.

On Monday, Kaia shared a photo of herself outdoors in leggings and a brown crop top that already featured a blonde hairdo, though she seemed to have bleached it further in the newest snap. 

Back in April, she entranced her fans by lightening her dark hair using hydrogen peroxide. 

‘I recently posted a video on Instagram of Audrey Hepburn cutting her own bangs because I got to the point in quarantine where I was like, I’m either going to cut my hair or dye it,’ she told Refinery29 in April.

‘I knew something was going to happen, so I decided to give myself at-home highlights

Rather than using a simple box of hair dye, she went with a more DIY solution.

‘I don’t know if I’d recommend this, but I just used hydrogen peroxide, a random DIY thing I saw online somewhere,’ she said. ‘I literally put the straight peroxide on my hair and then dried it with a blowdryer — just to hit it with heat — and it definitely lightened my color a shade or two, just a subtle change.’

Earlier in the week, Kaia made sure to make her pal Cara Delevingne’s 28th birthday one to remember with a sweet post on Instagram on Wednesday.

The model shared a series of snaps including one which showed the pair’s matching ‘solemate’ tattoos on their feet. 

Kaia shared two snaps of what appeared to be her and Cara’s feet.

One revealed they had matching tattoos saying ‘solemate’ while the other showed them interlinking toes while holding hands, without the inkings.

Other sweet posts included one of Cara pulling a funny face while wearing a white hoodie with Kaia’s face printed on it. 

And in another shared by the blonde beauty, the two gal pals were seen joking and dancing around while dressed up in costumes.

They had originally spent lockdown together in their self-professed ‘quarantine crew’ with some of their closest Hollywood pals but then had some time apart.
