Joe Wicks shares a glimpse of his brand new home gym in the roof of his plush family pad

He tutored the world with PE lessons from his Richmond living room during lockdown.

And The Body Coach star Joe Wicks – who moved him and his young family into a brand new house over the weekend – has now teased his new-look workout space.

The  33-year-old trainer has ensured he’s got a designated spot in the new family home to film his online fitness sessions, having gutted the lounge in the old house so he had more space to film.

The new gym, however, appears to be in the roof.

Taking to Instagram, Joe revealed to his followers that he had finished filming the first new training session from the new gym, showing off the camera and lighting equipment in the low-ceilinged space.

The slanted ceiling – as well as a view from two floors up of the lush gardens – suggest Joe’s new workout space is in a converted attic, rather in amongst the rest of the family downstairs.

He teased a clip from the YouTube session, with the fireplace and shelves his fans have become used to seeing in the background replaced with weights on a wooden storage unit.

‘Good backdrop?’ he asked his fans.

The gym comes complete with a treadmill, bike, dumbbells, kettlebells and branded mats.

He also did a brief Q&A with one fan asking if the Wicks family – Joe, wife Rosie and children Indie, 20 months, and Marley, 8 months – have settled in.

He showed one of his exercise bikes overlooking the garden from the attic rooms, adding: ‘We are still unpacking boxes so it’s a bit of a mess but we love it here already. So good to see Indie and Marley running around in the garden!’
