‘We can’t speak too much legally about it, but I’ll say this, there’s been love,’ Boss began.

‘Obviously there’s some things to address, but from my standpoint and from countless others, there’s been love,’ he continued.

‘I’ll just leave it at that until there’s a time where we can address more publicly. There’s been love and there’ll will continue to be love,’ Boss said.

Ellen has been filming from home since March, with Boss contributing from his home as well, though he adds that ‘of course’ he’s anxious to get back on set.

Though he added the ‘Catch-22’ is that he’s going to ‘miss this time’ with his wife Allison Holker and their kids Maddox 4, Zaia, 13 months and Holker’s daughter Weslie, 12, from a previous relationship.

‘All this time at home, being able to be with the kids and the family and all that, it’s just like you know the day when they’re like, ‘OK, everything’s done everybody go back to work,’ I think everybody’s going to have a little bit of separation anxiety,” he explained.

Boss has been the regular DJ on Ellen since April 2014, though one of his predecessors, Tony Okungbowa, made headlines last week by claiming he experienced some of the reported toxicity.

‘I have been getting calls asking me about the Ellen Degeneres Show and I would like to address the time I spent there,’ he began.

‘While I am grateful for the opportunity it afforded me, I did experience and feel the toxicity of the environment and I stand with my former colleagues in their quest to create a healthier and more inclusive workplace as the show moves forward,’ he added.

Okungbowa replaced DJ Scott K just a few weeks into the first season, and stayed through the third season before he left to further his acting career.

Boss is also an actor himself, featured in movies such as the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, Magic Mike XXL and several of the Step Up movies.

He also recently served as a guest judge on NBC’s World of Dance alongside Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough.
