Selena Gomez appears with her dogs for her brand Rare Beauty: ‘Our products will be 100% vegan’

Selena Gomez poses with her beloved dogs as she assures fans her new Rare Beauty line ‘will be 100% vegan and cruelty-free’

Earlier this week, she announced the impending launch of her new cosmetics brand, named for her most recent studio album.

And on Saturday, Selena Gomez was all smiles on Instagram in support of her new Rare Beauty, lounging on the couch with her beloved poodles.

The occasion was to announce a commitment the nascent company is making on behalf of animals everywhere.

‘For the past few months, you’ve all been asking… and we’re proud to share that our products will be 100% vegan and cruelty-free,’ the caption read.

‘Like you, we love and care for our animals too.❤️ Coming September 3rd only @Sephora and RareBeauty.com’

And Gomez, who turned 28 at the end of last month, was made up nicely for the shot, blending into the beige couch in a matching honeycomb knit pajama set.

Even the small dog on her lap was a similar shade of beige.

The Wolves hitmaker sported hoop earrings and a pink manicure, and she reclined on a white pillow decorated with a dog print in keeping with the theme.

And being cruelty-free to animals is not the only move Rare Beauty is making to be a conscientious and responsible brand.

The company also recently introduced the Rare Impact Fund, which will commit one percent of annual sales toward ‘an ambitious $100 million over the next 10 years to help increase access to mental health resources.’
