Lizzo has reached a high-profile deal with Amazon Studios.

The stuido now has first-look rights to any ideas the Grammy-winning singer, rapper and flutist has for television and streaming packages, according to Deadline.

The 32-year-old Juice diva will develop and produce projects as part of the deal, which will conceivably also feature her as well.

Lizzo, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, has indeed embodied a sense of positivity throughout her career – the overarching message in both her music and presentation has always been a bold and unapologetic message of self-love and acceptance.

Her presence on social media highlights her sense of body-positivity and unabashed self-love, with posts showing the singer rocking gorgeous and edgy looks, often in various states of undress.

‘Lizzo is one of the most exciting, creative, joyful artists in the industry, and it is such a pleasure to announce this new deal with her,’ Salke said of the Tempo hitmaker.

‘She has such a unique perspective and we’re so excited to hear her ideas for new content that our Prime Video customers are sure to love.’

And while Lizzo has found considerable success in music – her brilliant 2019 album Cuz I Love You dominated the airwaves and won three Grammys – her onscreen work is still just beginning.

Aside from a high-profile featured cameo role in the Jlo blockbuster Hustlers last year, the Good As Hell songstress also voiced a character in the animated feature UglyDolls.

An upcoming credit from the Truth Hurts singer is Yeti! Yeti!, an 11-minute animated short in which she will voice a character named Magic Mushroom.
