Glee star Jenna Ushkowitz gets engaged to boyfriend David Stanley and shows off her engagement ring

Glee star Jenna Ushkowitz is hearing wedding bells, as the actress became engaged to her boyfriend David Stanley.

The 34-year-old actress, best known for playing Tina Cohen-Chang on the Fox musical hit series Glee, shared a photo of her and Stanley, while showing off her ring and holding her adorable dog.

‘Yes, a million times, yes,’ Ushkowitz said in the caption of her post, while several of her famous friends chimed in to congratulate the happy couple. 

Her partner shared the same image along with the caption: ‘Yes [three heart emojis] (sic)’

A number of the couple’s friends were quick to comment like Demi Lovato, who also recently got engaged to her partner Max Ehrich following a whirlwind romance.

‘DOUBLE SOON TO BE MARRIED ENGAGED COUPLES DATE SOON ASAP I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU’ Lovato said.

Actress Emily Kinney added, ‘Wow!! Congrats!!!’ while Kathryn Gallagher added, ‘YESSS.’

Ally Maki added, ‘Verified YES YES YESSSSSSSSSSSS still screaming!!! Need to have our fiance club hang celebration! @travisatreo.’

Sarah Hyland said, ‘HOLY ST!!**!! YES!!!!! IT’S F***ING GORGEOUS’ among the numerous celebrity reactions to the engagement.

David’s proposal comes just weeks after Ushkowitz paid tribute to her Glee’ co-star Naya Rivera, who accidentally drowned while out boating with her four-year-old son Josey.

‘There are no words and yet so many things I want to say, I don’t believe I’ll ever be able to articulate exactly what I feel but… Naya, you were a [lightning] force and everyone who got to be around you knew it and felt the light and joy you exuded when you walked into a room,’ Ushkowitz began.

‘You shined on stage and screen and radiated with love behind closed doors. I was lucky enough to share so many laughs, martinis and secrets with you,’ she added.

‘I can not believe I took for granted that you’d always be here. Our friendship went in waves as life happens and we grow, so I will not look back and regret but know I love you and promise to help the legacy of your talent, humor, light and loyalty live on,’ she added.

‘You are so loved. You deserved the world and we will make sure Josey and your family feel that everyday. I miss you already,’ the actress concluded.

Ushkowitz stars in the upcoming movie 1 Night in San Diego alongside Alexandra Daddario and she has also produced Broadway shows Be More Chill and The Inheritance.
