Married At First Sight’s KC Osborne faced backlash from viewers for having spent more than $40,000 on plastic surgery and other cosmetic treatments.
And the 31-year-old dance instructor hit back at her critics on Thursday, saying she should’t be defined by her ‘personal choice’ to go under the knife.
‘I just think with these procedures it’s such a personal thing and it never defines anyone – it’s such a personal choice,’ she told Who magazine.

‘I am open about talking about it because it doesn’t bother me what people think,’ she added.
KC has previously admitted to spending more than $40,000 on surgical and non-surgical procedures, including two boob jobs, lip fillers and Botox.
While she isn’t ashamed of her decisions, she was hurt when her MAFS husband Drew Brauer accused her on the show of being ‘superficial’.

‘To be honest it was a little mean to say things like, “I don’t my wife looking like Michael Jackson,'” she said.
‘I just think that people who have that view are very narrow-minded – beauty is more than what’s on the outside and I think people should stop judging that and get to know somebody for their morals, their values and things like that.’
After splitting from Drew following their final vows, KC went on to date her co-star star Michael Goonan for several months.

However, they announced their split on July 4.
At the time, a devastated KC told her Instagram followers: ‘It hurts my heart to write this. It’s with sadness that I have chosen to end my relationship with Michael.’
She explained that the pair had been together for almost five months, and that their time in lockdown in Melbourne ‘felt like a lifetime while isolating’.

Tellingly, she said that Michael needed to make some changes in his life.
She has since claimed there is a possibility they might reconcile, but they are still living in different states for the time being.
Michael is based in Melbourne, where he runs the Victorian operations of his family’s commercial ice business, and KC owns a dance studio in Sydney.
Separate lives: She later said that his failed promises of changing his ‘playboy’ ways was a factor in their break-up earlier this month. The brunette said it was best for them to go their separate ways for the time being, but wouldn’t rule out getting back together in the future
