Braun also spoke to Apple music about the song, revealing it was ‘born out of quarantine’ with his friends in Los Angeles.

‘I was staying at a friend’s house. They were doing a full lockdown deal and they were like, “You should be really careful about going out and talking to people.”‘

He added that he was thinking about going on a date and his friends said, ‘Don’t do that. Don’t do that. Don’t be near a person.”‘

‘So I was in this two week quarantine away from even my friends in this house and I think my brain just started turning like, what would make this okay?’ Braun added.

He concluded that the ‘antibodies’ would allow him, ‘to go on a social distance walk with somebody?’

‘Obviously, just felt like a punk song because it’s the word antibodies … I knew it had to be in the Blink 182, Papa Roach, POD realm,’ Bruan added.

The journey to creating this song started on May 6, when Braun took to Instagram asking for help with lyrics he came up with.

He added it was a ‘dream of my whole life’ to put a song together like this, adding, ‘I’ve been singing as long as I can remember.

‘I loved being in choir in first grade. I mean, I was obsessed with learning songs from a young age,’ he added.
