Jessica Wright covers up in a face mask after returning from Marbella

There was no sign of the holiday blues as Jessica Wright ventured out for some essentials on Monday morning, just days after returning from coronavirus-stricken Spain.

The TV personality flew back from Balearic island Marbella shortly before the Spanish government implemented tighter safety measures following a recent spike in recorded cases of COVID-19.

And she appeared to be in high spirits while chatting on her phone before making her way into an Essex supermarket, where she stocked up on food. 

Sporting a white hooded top and a pair of black gym leggings, Jess, 34, looked relaxed as she climbed from her car and helped herself to the nearest trolley.

While the former TOWIE star’s timely return to the UK enables her to immediately leave the confines of her home, there is no such luck for Brits currently on holiday across Spain and its surrounding islands. 

Anyone returning from the country, which has seen more than 200 outbreaks since June, will now have to enter a two week period of quarantine before being cleared to integrate with friends, relatives, colleagues and the general public. 

Jess will need to enjoy her downtime to its fullest before diving into wedding preparations for her nuptials to her businessman fiancé William Lee-Kemp in June 2021.

William popped the question on the snow capped peaks of Courchevel, France, in February after 13 months of dating.

The pair recently confirmed that they would be getting hitched in a beach ceremony in Majorca – coronavirus restrictions permitting – and plan to have 15 bridesmaids. 

Jess told Hello! magazine that her sister-in-law Michelle Keegan, 33, the actress wife of her brother Mark, would be one of bridal party, but she’s keeping quiet about the other 14.

While the happy couple have holidayed in many exotic locations, Jess explained that Majorca has been like a second home to her as her family have a house on the island.

She said: ‘I’ve been dreaming of a fairytale wedding since I was little, when I used to dress up in my mum’s net curtains.

‘Now I can’t wait for the moment I’ve been imagining for so long, walking up the aisle in a fabulous dress to marry Will.’

Of the location, she added: ‘We’ve enjoyed some amazing holidays here and I practically grew up on the island because it’s where my family has a second home.’
