Tamzin Outhwaite reunites with Nicole and Natalie Appleton for their first lunch this YEAR

Tamzin Outhwaite was reunited with her All Saints pals Nicole and Natalie Appleton on Thursday having not been able to hang out all year.

Thanks to 2020’s COVID-19 crisis, the actress and the singer sisters were kept apart for months but joined together for a leisurely lunch and a catch up.

Tamzin, 49, posted some snaps to Instagram to mark the occasion.

In one, she posed for a selfie with Nicole, 45, before joining Natalie, 47, for a meal in a restaurant garden with another pal and her baby.

Tamzin captioned the snap: ‘Lunch with your girls for the first time all year #skipper #love’

She shared another selfie earlier this month, looking loved up with her beau Tom Child.

The former EastEnders star took a break with her actor boyfriend, 29, and their chihuahua Pip to the countryside after being stuck for 16 weeks in lockdown together.

The actress shared a selfie of the couple smiling in front of a stream in the wholesome post.

She captioned it: ‘A long walk or cycle, a slap up meal with too many cocktails, many episodes of Schitt’s Creek, a little gardening, cooking & generally hanging out just us and Pip.

‘I miss my girls and it’s weird not hearing their voices but after lockdown for 16 wks, some much needed us time in nature was needed.’

It comes after reports that the actress is thought to be in advanced talks with BBC bosses to join this year’s Strictly and could sign her contract as early as this week along with the likes of Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing. 

A source told The Sun: ‘What with Covid-19, everything is all still very much touch and go, and plans are changing on a weekly basis.

‘But nearly all the celebs are in the final stages of negotiations now, and Jamie is fully on board…

‘Tamzin is a perfect fit for the show. The BBC loves an EastEnder and she has a background in performing and dance, so she is really excited to see how she fares.’ 

The soap star previously revealed that her two daughters, Florence, 11, and Marnie, eight, desperately wanted her to appear on the hit show.

But Tamzin, who first appeared in Albert Square in 1998, admitted: ‘I think I’m a bit old. I’m not sure my body could take it.’

It comes after Tamzin detailed the challenges of motherhood amid the coronavirus pandemic in a candid Instagram.

The actress shared a snap of herself hugging her daughter Marnie as she admitted she struggled to adjust to homeschooling her children before also crediting the lockdown for spending more quality time with her family.

The media personality penned: ‘There have been tantrums, power struggles, many tears, homeschooling fails,separate isolation (generally on a device in a strop) & arguments… but I have to remind myself of the positives.’ [sic]
