Jessika Power claims ex-boyfriend Matt Whyatt GHOSTED her to star on the new season of Bachelor in Paradise
They were caught hooking up at a Gold Coast nightclub in September last year.
And Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power has now revealed the real reason why her short-lived romance with Bachelorette star Matt Whyatt didn’t work out.
The 28-year-old influencer told Isolation TV that the BMX rider had ‘ghosted’ her so he could appear on the new season on Bachelor in Paradise.

‘You’ll get to see one of my exes on this show actually… It was part of the reason why we stopped talking as well,’ she said.
‘He completely just lied to me about going on the show and ghosted me and the next minute, he’s like: “I’m going on Bachelor in Paradise,”‘ she added.
Jessika said she had hoped the relationship would be more than just a short fling.

‘I’m like, “Okay… I just met your family…” But anyway!’ she said.
Matt, 28, is yet to make his debut on Paradise, which was filmed from November to December last year, and it’s believed he will join as an intruder in the coming weeks.
Matt, who appeared on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette, had been pictured flirting up a storm with Jessika last September.

They spent time together at the YOT Club, a nightclub on the Gold Coast, before heading back to his apartment.
‘They were all over each other in their private booth, they didn’t care who saw them,’ an onlooker said at the time.
Once the pair were back at Matt’s, they cheekily sent a ‘disappearing photo’ of themselves in bed together to some of the other Bachelor contestants on Instagram.
Their history: Matt, who appeared on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette, was seen taking Jessika home from a nightclub on the Gold Coast last September- shortly before Paradise contestants flew to Fiji early November
‘Everybody in The Bachelor world was gossiping about Matt’s hook-up with Jessika in the secret Bachelor group chats,’ another source revealed.
‘Some of the girls even seemed a bit jealous because they were hoping to have a shot with Matt on Bachelor in Paradise.’
Earlier that same night, Jessika had shared a photo of herself cuddling up to Matt inside the nightclub on her public Instagram Story.

The pair appeared quite close in the photo, with a scantily-clad Jessika leaning in close to the BMX pro, who smiled while pointing at her cleavage.
Matt is now rumoured to be dating his Paradise co-star Brittney Weldon.
An Instagram Story recently uploaded by fellow castmate Jamie Doran shows Matt drinking wine while Brittney’s voice is audible in the background.
