Matty Johnson was left heartbroken after he was dumped by Georgia Love on the season finale of The Bachelorette back in 2016.
And on Thursday, his fiancée Laura Byrne revealed what really happened during filming.
Speaking on her Life Uncut podcast, Laura, 33, said that after being rejected, Matty J had to awkwardly re-film his walk of shame, after he accidentally walked the wrong way.

‘After Georgia broke up with Matt and said it wasn’t him, he had to walk out and turn around and do it again.’
‘He walked the wrong way,’ Laura laughed, before her podcast co-star Brittany Hockley replied: ‘That is just the worst.’
Laura went on to say while she still feels sorry for him, she still likes to tease him about it.
At the time, Matty J reflected on the heartbreaking moment that he was dumped by Georgia, telling News.com.au that he almost walked out without saying a word.
‘My initial reaction when I had my hands on my knees was just, “walk out of there now and don’t say anything to her,”‘ he said at the time.
‘But I gathered myself and forced a few words out,’ the marketing manager added.
