Christina Aguilera showcases a western look in a cowboy hat while enjoying nature with her son Max

She has been enduring the coronavirus pandemic from the comfort of her Los Angeles home. 

But Christina Aguilera escaped the city on Tuesday as she took her son Max, 12, camping in an airstream trailer. 

The 39-year-old popstar donned a chic western look in a tight white tee that she paired with a cream colored cowboy hat as she shared photos to Instagram.

The Burlesque actress stood in the doorway of the silver trailer with her son. 

She donned a white tee that read ‘Cowboy’ in silver mirrored writing, that she paired with tight black pants and reflected gold sunglasses. 

The mother-of-two posed with her hand on the top of her hat as her son, who she shares with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, stood in front of her.  

‘Escaped into nature for a bit,’ she captioned the set of photos.

Max matched his mom’s casual western style in a black cowboy hat, striped black and white tee and black Nike athletic shorts. 

Back in June, Christina was happy to be a proud mother when she took to Instagram to shower her eldest child with praise following his graduation.

‘my graduate! so proud of you my love!’ she wrote before turning the attention to all the students who graduated amid the COVID-19 crisis.

‘And sending love and congrats to all the grads out there during this time!’

She shared the sweet sentiments along with a photo of herself snuggling up next to her boy while lounging in a pool.

Even doused in pool water, the Beautiful singer looked stylish wearing red sunglasses, matching lipstick, and her trademark platinum tresses slicked back.

Max looked happily content with his right arm wrapped around his mom and his other arm firmly in-between their two bodies.

He is among the millions of students who graduated in 2020 without a traditional ceremony due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Aguilera has also been very open about how grateful she is for the person Max has become in his young life. 

‘I’ll never grow tired of celebrating the most incredible, amazing person you are…have become and continue to be,’ she shared to her 6.8 million Instagram followers on Max’s birthday in January.

‘You have the biggest heart and caring nature, which I’m so proud of seeing and hearing from others who experience being around you – because those are rare, natural instincts that can’t be taught!’ 

She also has a five-year-old daughter Summer with fiance Matthew Rutler.

The couple have been an item since they began dating back in 2010 and have been engaged since 2014.

In an interview with Haute Living, the New York City raved about how being a mother and how it has helped her grow to become a better person.

‘I’m a huge kid at heart, and they give me the opportunity to play and be able to instill and encourage their imaginations,’ she explained with heartfelt emotion. 

‘You’re part of these amazing little people’s lives, and it teaches you patience and teaches you things about yourself that you don’t like, that you want to work on.
