He was labelled a ‘stage-five clinger’ on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette.
And in a new teaser for the next episode of Bachelor in Paradise, Jamie Doran appears so distraught at his best friend Timm Hanly’s desire to go home, that he also threatens to quit the show.
In dramatic scenes from the short clip, the 40-year-old is left in tears as he begs Timm to stay – but it appears his pleas fall on deaf ears as he’s seen walking away from the idyllic Fiji resort with his suitcase in hand.

The clip shows Jamie having a good time before a clearly unhappy Timm reveals he wants to leave the show.
‘My friendship with Timm is everything. Timm is my best friend!’ he expresses emotionally to another housemate.
Jamie confronts Timm in the bedroom, telling him he ‘doesn’t know how much he means to him.’
A baffled Timm informs him, ‘I’m not dying, bro!’

When firefighter Jamie realises there’s no changing his mind, he decides to pack his bags.
The final scene in the teaser ends with him dramatically making his way out of the resort.
Viewers will have to tune into the next episode on Wednesday night at 7.30 pm to find out what happens.

Meanwhile, Jamie has found himself in hot water on Bachelor in Paradise so far after expressing romantic interest in almost every woman this season.
Before the first Rose Ceremony, he’d promised a rose not only to Abbie Chatfield and Brittney Weldon, but also Cassandra Mamone, Helena Sauzier and Mary Viturino.
He eventually gave his rose to Brittney, therefore eliminating Abbie from the show.
