He has an endless stream of impeccably tailored suits for The Late Late Show.

But James Corden traded his formal work attire for a casual t-shirt and jeans combo in Venice, California on Sunday.

The late-night talk show host, 41, wore a face-mask as he ventured out for a low-key bike ride with his son.

Low profile: James Corden rocked a plain t-shirt gingham shorts and rugged facial hair as he enjoyed a weekend bike ride with his son, Max, in Venice California

James switched up his usual clean-shaven look, letting his facial hair grow out and allowing a short goatee to form.

He chose a pair of navy gingham shorts, a plain black t-shirt and a pair of black shades which are certainly handy during a cycling trek in the California sun.

He finished off the look with some spotless white trainers.

The Gavin and Stacey put safety first as he wore a helmet and patterned face-mask to make sure he was sufficiently protected.

James tied the knot with his television producer partner, Julia Carey, in 2012 at Babington House, a grand 18th century Georgian manor in Somerset.

The couple share three young children together, Max, nine, Carey, five, and their two-year old toddler Charlotte.

Aside from growing his facial hair out during lockdown, James has been posting support for the Black Lives Matter protests.

The chat show host has also helped circulate messages asking the protests to keep away from children’s hospitals.
