Retro babe! Married At First Sight star Jessika Power shows off her new flapper inspired bob hairdo

It might be the 2020s, but Jessika Power was bringing back the 1920s on Friday night. 

The Married At First Sight star showed off her new, flapper inspired bob after a visit to Blow Bar Lane on the Gold Coast. 

The  26-year-old shared a number of photos to Instagram, flaunting the new do, which sat above her shoulders in delicate curls. 

The soft, elevated waves gave the cut a retro quality, with Jessika working her glamorous angles as she sipped a lychee cocktail. 

Wearing a pearl-toned top and skirt combination, with a dramatic split showing off her shapely thigh, she posed with friend Krystal Turner-Harvey. 

Jessika explained in her caption: ‘Friendship isn’t about who you’ve known the longest. It’s about who walked into your life, said ‘I’m here for you’ and proved it’.

The reality star recently split from her boyfriend James Brown, 35, after four months together.  

Jessika confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that she and landscaper James had split after fans noticed the couple had unfollowed each other on social media. 

‘We were having some problems and they got worse when I left the Gold Coast to go visit my family in Perth,’ she explained. 

‘Unfortunately, we were unable to sort through them and he’s decided to move on,’ she added.

The former couple went public with their relationship in early March, but they had actually started dating in February.

Last month, the reality star revealed that the break-up had left her feeling ‘destroyed’ and ‘broken’. 

Posting to her Instagram Story Jessika wrote a lengthy piece revealing that she is struggling from ‘depression’ and needs ‘self care’.
