The Block’s interior designer Shaynna Blaze looks glum as she picks flowers and walks her dog during Melbourne’s COVID-19 lockdown

The Block’s Shaynna Blaze has been spotted out and about amid Melbourne’s latest COVID-19 lockdown.

On Tuesday, the TV presenter looked glum as she took her dog for a brief walk around the city.

The interior designer, 56, was rugged up for the colder weather in jeans, sneakers and a large puffer jacket.

Ready for a sudden downpour, Shaynna’s coat had a hood with faux fur trimming.

Placing her blonde locks up in a ponytail, the Block judge appeared to wear minimal makeup for her short outdoor stroll.

Shaynna was later seen plucking a small bunch of flowers from a nearby garden as she continued her walk.

Last week, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announced that Melbourne would go into a six-week lockdown to prevent the spread of its recent coronavirus outbreak across the state.

From 11.59pm on July 8, metro Melbourne went into full lockdown, and there are now 4,224 known coronavirus cases in Victoria.

The Block’s 2020 season was halted in March for five weeks due to the COVID-19 outbreak across Australia earlier this year.

In May, host Scott Cam described this year’s season of the renovation show as the ‘most challenging ever’ because of the coronavirus pandemic.

He told A Current Affair that producers had downsized the latest project in Brighton, after several teams had struggled with the mammoth task of renovating The Oslo hotel in St Kilda last year.

The Block is expected to air in the next few months with auctions expected to take place at the end of spring.

The contestants are currently putting the final touches on their Brighton homes, which are expected to fetch more than $3.5 million at auction.
