Skye Wheatley’s boyfriend Lachlan Waugh mocks her career as an ‘influencer’

Skye Wheatley’s boyfriend Lachlan Waugh couldn’t resist poking fun at her career as an Instagram influencer during a recent drive through the Queensland countryside.

The 26-year-old former Big Brother star and her long-time partner were on their way to an alpaca farm with their 18-month-old son Forest when Skye started flashing peace signs at her camera phone.  

‘What is it with influencers doing the peace sign?’ the 28-year-old asked disapprovingly in a video uploaded to Skye’s YouTube channel on Monday.  

Clearly taken aback by his remark, Skye asked him: ‘Why? What influencers are you stalking?’

Lachlan then began to mock his girlfriend, flashing the peace sign as he drove.  

‘It’s just what everyone does…’ he explained, prompting an annoyed Skye to feign innocence and ask, ‘Do they?’

But Lachlan continued his rant, this time putting on a voice to mock influencers. 

‘”Hi, guys. Welcome back to my channel,”‘ he continued, once again flashing the peace sign. 

A fed up Skye shot her beau a look of annoyance, before insisting she didn’t know anyone who regularly pulled out the peace sign.  

‘No. I have not seen anyone do the peace sign that I watch,’ she shot back.

After arriving at the alpaca farm, Skye and Lachlan bought a bag of food to feed the animals, and even took one for a walk on a leash.

But it didn’t all go smoothly with one of the alpacas nipping Skye on the hand as she fed it, prompting her to cry out in pain.
