MasterChef fan favourite Jess Liemantara hosts a masterclass at Reynold Poernomo’s KOI Dessert Bar

She stole MasterChef Australia: Back To Win viewers’ hearts with her encouraging attitude and mouth-watering dishes. 

So it’s no surprise fans flocked to Jess Liemantara’s dessert masterclasses at Reynold Poernomo’s KOI Dessert Bar on Tuesday. 

The 22-year-old pastry chef led two masterclasses at the high-end Sydney location, sharing her secrets on handmade Ferrero Rocher and lemon, white chocolate and raspberry tarts, both of which she made while competing on MasterChef.

Jess shared group photos from each class on Instagram Stories, adding her signature heartwarming charm to the comments.

‘Ferrero class! Was such a blast meeting all these beautiful people,’ Jess wrote in the caption of one photo.

She added to the other picture: ‘White chocolate tart class! I couldn’t stop myself from laughing during this cook. Thank you for making my first day so much fun.’

Jess isn’t the only MasterChef star to make an appearance at Reynold’s restaurant. 

One of Jess’ best friends, Reece Hignell has also revealed he’s teaming up with co-star Reynold Poernomo, 26, on a new project at Reynold’s dessert bar. 

The 30-year-old will be hosting special cooking classes at KOI to teach fans how to make some of his famous recipes, including his lemon tart and his brown butter tart.

The classes will be held from July 20-22 in the kitchen at the eatery in Sydney’s Ryde, with guests being able to take home their creations.  

The classes run for three hours and cost a whopping $350 per person. 

But participants receive a $50 KOI gift card to use upon booking in.
