Country singer Morgan Wallen announces the arrival of his son Indigo Wilder: ‘I’m a changed man’
Morgan Wallen announced on Monday that his son Indigo Wilder has arrived.
The 27-year-old country singer shared the happy news in an Instagram post that featured a sweet photo of him cradling the newborn boy.
Morgan’s ex-girlfriend KT Smith gave birth to their child on Friday in Tennessee, with the little boy weighing in at 6lbs13oz.

Morgan’s photo featured him in an orange checker University of Tennessee shirt, acid wash jeans and a trucker hat as he held the swaddled baby.
The Whiskey Glasses singer addressed his post to ‘Little Wilder’ and stated that he was ‘a changed man.’
‘Since you came into the world Friday, I see mine differently now. It’s not just me anymore, and I’m glad it’s not,’ he wrote.
‘This year has been the hardest of my life in so many ways, but that’s not what i will remember it by. You are. You are a gift and this tough year just made sense.’
Morgan promised to be ‘the Dad you deserve’ and the ‘co-parent your mother deserves,’ while vowing to be a ‘godly man’ like ‘my daddy was for me.’

The Voice star admitted he wasn’t sure what fatherhood would feel like and feared how it would go.
‘But it’s the coolest damn feeling, and I’m ready for whatever God has planned for me and my little guy. He’s healthy and happy and while I’m typing this I’m getting in the truck to go hold him right now.
Morgan ended the post by adding how he couldn’t wait until his son, whom he nicknamed Indie, was big enough to go fishing with him.
Indigo’s mother KT also announced the birth on her own Instagram page.
She shared a picture of herself beaming from her hospital bed on Friday, shortly before the birth.

‘Guess what time it is ✨,’ she captioned it.
A later post from Saturday featured the joyous new mother holding little Indigo in her arms.
‘when you pray for God to send someone who reciprocates your love for them- and he sends you the most perfect version of that,’ she wrote.

The new mother also included a picture of little Indie while his umbilical cord was still attached.
Morgan first appeared on The Voice in 2014. He release his debut full-length album, If I Know Me, in 2018. It reached number two on the Country and Indie charts
Morgan began his ascent within the country music industry by appearing on NBC’s The Voice in 2014, where he was initially part of Usher’s team, before switching over to Adam Levine’s squad.
His success on the series helped him secure a record deal and release the five-song EP Stand Alone.
His debut full-length album, If I Know Me, arrived in 2018 and reached number two on both the Billboard Country and Indie charts.
In May, Morgan apologized after he was kicked out of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk bar in downtown Nashville and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
