But Matt Smith looked to be in good spirits as he headed out with pals to a cafe in London on Friday.
The Doctor Who star, 37, cut a casual figure in a pair of brown chinos, a white T-shirt and an open blue shirt which he wore with only the top button tightly fastened.

Matt wore his brunette locks slicked back and hidden under a backwards baseball cap.
The TV star looked animated as he sat around a table alongside a group of friends with an array of drinks in front of them.

The outing comes just hours after it was announced that The Crown would be returning for series six.
Matt initially took up the role of Prince Philip in the first two seasons before handing over the baton to Tobias Menzies.
Over the weekend, Lily and Chris were spotted heading to a hotel after partying into the early hours at a private members’ club together.
Following their first spotting, the A-list pair were then seen enjoying a second outing in a London park on Wednesday as they tucked into some ice cream and fawned over each other while lounging on the grass.

The couple had been dating for five years but reportedly went their separate ways due to her discomfort over his ‘friendship with female stars’.

A source told The Sun: ‘Matt and Lily’s break-up was mostly because their hectic schedules meant they could barely see each other…
‘They kept the house together when they split because they were both barely around. But when lockdown began, they ended up isolating together…
‘Being in the house and having no work and distractions has allowed them to reconnect and get back to a good place. There is such an amazing chemistry between them and they make a wonderful couple.
‘It’s what friends had all hoped would happen because they do make each other so happy and their split happened because they were just too busy to see each other.’
