The glitzy Screen Actors Guild Awards have officially been delayed due to coronavirus.

Commonly known as the SAG Awards, the event was originally set to take place on Jan. 24, 2021. 

The award show, which always attracts the A-List stars in line for an Oscar, has now been pushed to Sunday, March 14, 2021.

It follows a slew of reshuffling for next year’s awards season, with the 93rd Academy Awards now being held on Sunday, April 25, instead of its usual date sometime between January and February.

The new date means that eligibility requirements have been modified and extended by two months. 

Last year’s event caused a huge spectacle when Jennifer Aniston – who won in the TV category for her Apple TV drama The Morning Show – reunited with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
