Susanna Reid ‘rekindles romance’ with millionaire Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish

Susanna Reid has ‘rekindled her romance with millionaire Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish’.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 49, and the football boss, 54, parted ways in April 2019 after nine months together, but had remained on friendly terms following the split.

The former couple are now said to have decided to ‘give things another go’, with Steve spotted at the south London home Susanna shares with her three sons on numerous occasions.

Now, 15 months after their split, a source told The Sun the pair have now rekindled their romance.

An insider said: ‘They’ve obviously decided to give things another go and have been together quite frequently recently.

‘Steve has been over a few times. It’s quite conspicuous when he goes there because he has a very flash car.

‘But otherwise they’ve always got on well. Hopefully things work out well for them. They’re both lovely.’

MailOnline has contacted Susanna and Steve’s representatives for comment.

Susanna split from Steve in April 2019, nine months after the pair confirmed their romance in August 2018.

Hours after Daily Mail exclusively revealed the news of the break up, Piers Morgan quizzed his co-star about what had gone down.

During an episode of GMB Piers asked his co-star: ‘Are you single again? You are aren’t you?’

An upbeat Susanna replied: ‘Yep. Let’s not dwell. I’m fine, we’re fine, we’re very good friends. We were at the match on Saturday.’

A friend of the presenter, who has helped turn ITV’s Good Morning Britain into a ratings hit, told the Mail of the split: ‘It’s very sad, but they just couldn’t make it work. They both work extremely hard and there wasn’t enough time for romance.’

Following the split, Susanna told Piers and Gemma Collins, who was filling as showbiz correspondent, that she’s firmly in the ‘never marrying camp’.

Susanna and Piers had been speaking to Gemma who said that she is waiting for her on/off boyfriend James Argent to propose.

Susanna then interrupted, declaring: ‘I’ll never marry!’ Piers paused the interview to turn to Susanna and ask: ‘Are you still of the never marrying camp?’

Susanna replied: ‘Yes I am. Nope. No.’

Gemma supported her, pointing out: ‘It’s not for everyone is it? It means you’ll be tied to them for a long time. You have to really love them.’

Susanna also addressed her romance woes during an awkward moment on Good Morning Britain.

The presenter discussed the ‘long and winding road’ of love during the showbiz segment with Richard Arnold, and hinted that her love life was proving a struggle.

Susanna, alongside co-hosts Ben Shepherd and Kate Garraway, had been watching a clip from an episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, where Harry Redknapp was discussing his son Jamie’s divorce from wife Louise.

As the scene cut back to the studio, Richard commented: ‘A rocky road it so often is, long and winding when it comes to love.’

Susanna then made a reference to her own heartbreak, awkwardly telling Richard: ‘Well, don’t talk to me about it!’

The showbiz correspondent then laughed: ‘Sorry, wrong crowd!’, with Susanna also seeing the funny side.

Susanna’s relationship with Steve was her first after she broke up with her last long-term boyfriend, Dominic Cotton, in 2014.

The pair, who were together for 16 years, have three children together, Sam, 18, Finn, 16, and Jack, 15.
