Julianne Hough ‘has been leaning’ on actor Ben Barnes since split from estranged husband Brooks Laich
Julianne Hough and Ben Barnes were photographed together while walking around Los Angeles about a six weeks ago.
And now, less than a month after she and husband Brooks Laich announced their separation, there’s word the Dancing With The Stars alum has been leaning on some friends during this emotional and transitional time, including the British actor.
‘She had been spending a lot of time with Ben Barnes and has been leaning on him,’ a source told Us Weekly.
‘She told Brooks it was nothing, but it’s not.’
Another Us Weekly report revealed Laich, a former longtime profession hockey player, did not want to end their marriage of nearly three years.
‘Her actions are what caused her divorce with Brooks,’ a source said.
‘Brooks did not want a divorce, but he felt pushed toward it because of how Julianne was behaving. But Brooks is not the one who is bummed now.’

Laich, 37, and Hough, 31, announced their separation on May 29, but there had already been widespread speculation that they were on the rocks when it was revealed they had been quarantining, amid the COVID-19 crisis, separately.
‘We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate,’ the estranged couple said in a joint statement.
‘We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We Kindly request your compassion and respect fir our privacy moving forward.’

Laich, who had been in sequester in Idaho, has since returned to Los Angeles, where Hough remained during the lockdown.
But it now appears the former America’s Got Talent judge has since left L.A. and ‘hasn’t been answering anyone’s call or text, including her closest friends,’ a source added.
Despite the split, Laich spent part of his June 23 birthday working out with Julianne’s brother Derek at his home gym in his garage.
The estranged couple would have celebrated their third wedding anniversary on July 8.
