Big Brother’s Marissa Rancan makes co-star Sarah McDougal cry after demanding to know why she was put up for eviction

Marissa Rancan couldn’t understand why she was put up for eviction on Big Brother on Wednesday night.

And Sarah McDougal was overwhelmed when she was confronted by the 62-year-old makeup artist demanding answers.

Multiple contestants even went so far as to urge Marissa to ‘calm down’ as they were concerned her dramatic behaviour would put her on the chopping block, when she wasn’t likely to be evicted.

‘I just want to say I’m not going to scramble because that’s not me,’ said Marissa.

She added: ‘I’ve been myself all the way through this and I’ve been authentic since I walked into the house.

‘Whatever you feel, do what your heart tells you and we’re all friends at the end of the day but I’m not going to scramble to say “oh, please vote for me'”.’

Marissa then went in search for Sarah, immediately wanting to find out why she was put up for eviction.

When the 19-year-old told Marissa she needed a minute, the former aerobics stars came straight in and tried to hug her.

‘I’m just going to give you a hug. Don’t be sad, it’s fine,’ Marissa told her.

‘I just thought you were really angry with me,’ Sarah explained, as Marissa repeatedly told her ‘don’t be upset’.

‘Can you just tell me, why did you put me up?’ Marissa asked.

Sarah explained they needed a third person to put up for elimination and they felt Marissa was a strong competitor.

‘We had to put up someone. We know you won’t go. You’re friends with everyone,’ Sarah said.

Marissa was convinced she was a ‘threat somehow’ because she expected them to put ‘one of the guys’ up for eviction.

She believed she was put up for eviction because everybody else was in a ‘clique’.

After speaking to Sarah, Marissa went into the diary room and told Big Brother she felt they were trying to secretly play the game.

Having noticed ‘cliques’ within the house, Marissa claimed she knew her ‘next game plan’.
