Madison Beer wields a ‘Black Lives Matter’ sign and heads back to her Range Rover after protest

Madison Beer was recently criticized for launching into a vapid rant on Tik Tok amid national outcry and protests over the senseless killing of George Floyd.

And although she apologized for her ‘poor timing,’ the 21-year-old singer took her contrition a step further by attending the protest held in West Hollywood on Saturday afternoon.

Beer was spotted carrying a handmade ‘Black Lives Matter’ sign as she made her way back to her Range Rover that was parked far and away from the action.

The friend of Justin Bieber suited up for the day in an oversized Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt and a pair of black leggings.

Safety was clearly at the forefront of Madison’s mind as she wore a light blue medical grade mask to the protest.

The Selfish songstress kept accessories to a minimum by sporting a simple gold chain, matching hoop earrings, and a pair of sunglasses to shade her eyes from the sun.

Beer rounded out her outfit with a pair of comfy, white Nike sneakers and some white crew socks.

She attempted to go full incognito mode by leaving her face makeup-free and tying her lengthy brunette hair into a bun.

On Friday night, Madison made her first full-length post about how ‘heartbroken, enraged, and disturbed over the murder of George Floyd’ she has been.

‘i am mourning all of the unjust murders of black people around the world in the hands of institutional racism and hate crimes. because i am a white person, i have the privilege of not having to fear for my life due to the color of my skin, but i will always stand with you and fight with you,’ wrote Beer to her 18.8million followers.

Furious: Madison Beer has apologized for the ‘poor timing’ of her Tik Tok outburst about rumors that she has had plastic surgery

‘your voice matters. you will not be silenced. #blacklivesmatter today, tomorrow & forever. to all my followers, i have included some things you can do to help. please read about this situation, please watch the riots going on, please educate yourself in anyway you can. this is nowhere near the first time we’ve lost an innocent black person to a racist committing murder. it’s on us to make a change.’

She concluded her passionate statement by providing a series of phone numbers and links to her following, so they can contribute to the cause.

Earlier that day, Beer took to social media to apologize for the ‘poor timing’ of her Tik Tok outburst, which pertained to plastic surgery rumors.

She has since tweeted: ‘i stand with the Black Lives Matter movement over ANYTHING and THATS whats important right now and all i want to talk about.’

High dudgeon: In a moment archived by Tik Tok Room she exclaimed: ‘This is literally my f***ing natural face! Shut up already! It’s so annoying! I’m sorry I’m so mad right now’

In a moment archived by Tik Tok Room she exclaimed: ‘This is literally my f***ing natural face! Shut up already! It’s so annoying! I’m sorry I’m so mad right now.’

Madison explained that she was ‘triggered’ by an ‘eating disorder comment’ and was ‘f***ing so mad right now’ to the point she was ‘about to start crying.’

The pop act said that she had ‘struggled with my appearance’ and her ‘f***ing body,’ resulting in her emotional state on Tik Tok.

However some social media users denounced her for remarking on this subject after a white police officer knelt on George Floyd’s neck for more than seven minutes during an alleged forgery arrest, after which Floyd was taken to a hospital and died Monday.

On Thursday Madison quoted a tweet from Wednesday that read: ‘Black people are being killed and Madison Beer is crying about people calling her pretty…’

She wrote in response: ‘i just want to briefly address this bc this is upsetting & untrue. me addressing rumors & hate when i did was poor timing & i apologize.’

Madison went on: ‘i saw a video of someone claiming i give people eating disorders which triggered and upset me a lot – bc that is not something i take lightly.’

In a follow-up tweet she wrote that ‘in no world was what i was upset about in the same STRASOPHERE [sic] as ANYTHING going on, but as someone who’s struggled with my relationship with food for years, i saw a video and acted in a moment of hurt & went live. i was in no way trying to negate or compare to what is going on.’

She added: ‘i stand with the Black Lives Matter movement over ANYTHING and THATS whats important right now and all i want to talk about.’

Madison declared that ‘i will not f***ing stop until justice is served for all the lives we’ve so unjustifly [sic] and unfairly lost.’
