Imogen Anthony hints at her split with Kyle Sandilands in a cryptic post on Instagram

Imogen Anthony shared a cryptic message with her fans on Instagram on Thursday.

The 29-year-old model – and Kyle Sandilands’ ex-girlfriend – shared a photo of herself kneeling on the back of a couch in front of a print of Sandro Botticelli’s masterpiece, The Birth of Venus.  

‘I am gold but some prefer silver and that’s okay too,’ she captioned the photo.

The Birth of Venus depicts the goddess Venus emerging from the sea as a fully formed adult following her birth.

Meanwhile, Imogen wore an outfit printed with a similar artwork from the Renaissance period. 

Imogen split from shock jock Kyle, 48, in mid-2019 after eight years together.

While their breakup appeared to be amicable at the time, she accused Kyle of sending her mixed messages in another cryptic post on Instagram on Monday.

She claimed she had been ‘led astray for months’ and encouraged to ‘stay silent’ about the circumstances of their rift.    

‘While I have stayed silent and been asked to do so, others have been able to say and do what they want, and that hurts… Everything I have said has been the truth or what I was told directly,’ she wrote.

She also alleged Kyle had sent her romantic gifts after their breakup, which added to her sense of ‘confusion’. 

Imogen also shared what appeared to be private text messages between herself and Kyle, before swiftly deleting them. 

She claimed Kyle’s messages had given her false hope they might rekindle their relationship, only for her to realise a reconciliation wasn’t on the cards.
